Project Management Associates, a vibrant non-profit national body of project managers in India, is a member of International Project Management Association (IPMA), Netherlands. IPMA was formed in 1965 to create a fraternal body of PM - National Associations. International Project Management Association (IPMA) , a body comprising of 44 National PM Associations from all over the world, is providing the visionary direction to the project management profession and facilitating the pooling of national experiences to form a global depository of knowledge. As a member of PMA, India will be able to access the latest concepts and methodologies related to PM through the literature of IPMA and by participating in IPMA's programmes. IPMA's 4 Level Certification (4LC) scheme which is globally recognised, is administered only through PMA in India.Adesh Jain, President, PMA is the first non-European to become a member of IPMA Executive Board on 1st January, 1999.He was also appointed as the President IPMA, from January 2005 to December 2006 and the Dy Chairman, CoD of IPMA w.e.f. January 2009.

Cooperation agreement between PMA, India – PMA of Japan &
AIPM, Australia

Project Management Associates, the vibrant non-profit national body to promote quality Project Management Professionals in India, has signed a cooperative agreement with Project Management Association of Japan and Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), Australia.

This agreement has been signed to bring the best of project management knowledge from the world to benefit Indian Professionals, to strengthen project management in India, and to promote Indian Project Management Competence at the International level.
