PMA is the National Association of Project Managers of India, and is committed to promoting Project Mindset through Project Management Education in the country and Certification at all levels. There are a number of ways through which PMA strives to build Project Orientation across the Industry, Academia and Government:
PMA is the Exclusive Indian Member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) – the only Global federal Project Management association, comprising 68 Member Associations (MAs) from more 62 Nations across all continents.
IPMA’s globally recognized 4 Level Cerifications in Project Management, are exclusively administered and awarded in India by PMA Cert (Certification Body), PMA.
Close to 6000 professionals across a range of leading organizations in India, have been awarded IPMA Certifications by PMA Cert (Certification Body), PMA.
Some Departments of the Govt. of India, such as Ministries of Shipping and Road Transport & Highways, and over 75 leading industry leading Corporates are PMA’s Life Members.
We are a not for profit registered Society, established in 1993, with the Vision to Create a Project Oriented India (POI), which fervently supports the objectives of ‘Make-in-India’ Program of the Govt. of India.
Headquartered at Delhi NCR, India, PMA’s wide network of 14 Chapters across India, and regional offices in Southern and Western India, lend robust support to PMA’s mission of promoting Competence based Project management Orientation at all levels across the country.
PMA was founded by Shri Adesh Jain in 1993, who continued to be its President. Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai was elected as PMA President by PMA’s Managing Committee on 10th January 2015, and took over PMA Presidentship from that date.
