PMA India’s Mission is to create a vast Talent Pool of certified Project Competent Engineers and Professionals at all levels to power Nation Building Projects in all key sectors.
In keeping with its Mission, PMA India is actively engaged with the Industry, Academia and Government Departments for promoting Project Management Competence, based on adoption of IPMA’s globally recognized 4 Level Certification (4LC) system in Project Management. More than 200 industries / institutions in India have certified over 10,000 Engineers and Project Professionals by implementing IPMA 4LC Certifications in key sectors including Power, Renewables, Defence, Aerospace, Engineering/EPC, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Research, Infrastructure, Construction and allied areas.
Leading Industry Bodies in India including SCOPE, the Institution of Engineers (India), IEI and the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers, SIDM (the Apex Body of Defence Manufacturing sector industries in India) actively recognize IPMA’s 4 Level Certification system for Engineers and Project Professionals in their respective sectors.
PMA India strives to promote competence at different levels to facilitate successful completion of all projects. Competence building and development of Project Management Mindset across Industry, Academia and Institutions are undertaken by PMA India through its global and national level events, certification, membership, workshops and other engagements. Classroom trainings are conducted by independent accredited organizations/ individuals qualified for the task. PMA India actively recognizes the spirit of excellence among Projects, Young Project Managers, Project Leaders and Organizations through Excellence Awards. Appropriate best practices in Project Management, learnt and shared by IPMA, from their wealth of experience and knowledge base, are passed over to Project practitioners and Academia by PMA India. With its headquarters at New Delhi, PMA India's network of Chapters and Regional offices across India lend robust support to its mission. IPMA's 4 Level Certification system in Project Management is exclusively administered and awarded in India by PMA India through its Certification Body - PMA Cert.
